Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,522 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position ID: 75650731 Shift: Schedule: 6:30pm - 7:00am, every other weekend and holiday. Orientation: 3 days - 36 hours Duration: Description: Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients. Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information. Schedule : 26 weeks Interview: In-Person or Phone (30 minutes)Education: Associate of Science DegCertification: BLSLicense - Respiratory Therapist in the State of MichiganOn Call: NoBlock Scheduling: YesSchedule for days 6:30 pm - 7:00 am (3/12), every other weekend and holiday. Orientation: 3 days - 36 hours.Must Have: NICU experience. Must be current or within the last year. EXPRIENCE MUST BE LISTEDTechnology: Cerner, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilator, Servo I and USoft Skills: Good communication skills, organization skills. Note: ICU workers with only long term care facility experience will not work. No CRT candidates.Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/AEducation: Required Education: -Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Preferred Education: -Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
