Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. We
specialize in facility-based and home-based patient care through a
network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health
agencies. This position plays a critical role in delivering
exceptional patient care and ensuring our patients can thrive
outside of the hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a
passion for helping others and a commitment to upholding the
highest standards of patient safety and health. Administer
medications and treatments to patients following physician's
orders. Coordinate and manage patient care in collaboration with a
multidisciplinary team. Educate patients and their families on
treatments and home care procedures. Monitor, record, and report
symptoms and changes in patients' conditions and vital signs.
Maintain patient health records and ensure compliance with health
care regulations. Participate in patient assessments and contribute
to patient care plans. Provide emotional support to patients and
their families. Proven ability to handle medical information
discreetly Strong organizational and communication skills High
level of compassion and empathy Proficiency with medical equipment
and technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) is preferred
