Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our team of healthcare professionals in
providing exceptional care at our inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals. Our commitment to offering both facility-based and
home-based patient care enables us to deliver impactful recovery
solutions customized to each patient's unique needs. As a
Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in our
multidisciplinary team, dedicated to creating a patient-focused,
nurturing environment that promotes wellness and recovery. Assess
patients’ health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing
care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care
to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise
patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide
case management. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess,
plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Monitor all
aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity, and
inform physicians of patient status and response to treatments.
Proficiency in managing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient care, safety, and
recovery Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
necessary for working in a collaborative environment Capability to
work comfortably in a fast-paced and dynamic hospital environment
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current RN
license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
required
