Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation invites new nursing graduates to
apply for our Registered Nurse Residency program, designed to help
you transition from academic to practical, real-world nursing. As
part of our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive,
patient-focused environment across our inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. Our
residency includes extensive clinical orientation, mentorship from
experienced nurses, and continuous professional development in a
variety of healthcare settings. Provide high-quality patient care
under the supervision of experienced nurses Perform patient
assessments and administer medications as prescribed Collaborate
with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop effective
patient care plans Participate in all phases of patient care
including admission, transfer, and discharge Engage in learning
activities and training sessions to expand professional nursing
skills and knowledge Strong clinical skills and knowledge Excellent
communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced environment Compassionate patient care with a
commitment to ethical medical practices Proficiency in electronic
health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification required upon hire or within first 30 days of
employment
