Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of
healthcare professionals. Our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals
and network of home health agencies provide advanced medical care
in a supportive and healing environment, focusing on delivering
superior patient outcomes. This role requires proficient nursing
skills, a patient-centered approach to care, and the ability to
adapt to varying healthcare settings, either at patient homes or in
a facility-based context. Assess patient health problems and needs,
develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical
records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or
disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and
disease prevention or provide case management. Monitoring patient
recovery and compiling reports for the attending doctor. Hands-on
care delivery, including setting up medical equipment,
administering medication, and using a variety of healthcare
technologies. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting
Patient management and interpersonal communication Proficiency in
electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to work
independently and in a team environment Adaptability to various
health care settings and patient needs Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN)
certification
