Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team, where you will have the unique opportunity to deliver direct patient care within a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation environment or through our comprehensive home health and hospice services. As a Registered Nurse with Encompass Health, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain hope and independence as you develop nursing care plans, administer medication, and collaborate extensively with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive delivery of exceptional care. Evaluate and monitor patient's health, identifying care priorities, and adjusting plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for side effects and efficacy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive patient care plans. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families about follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and report any pertinent changes to the appropriate practitioners. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle medical information discretely. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively educating and comforting patients and families. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented nature.
