Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is excited to offer a unique opportunity for newly
graduated nurses to join our Registered Nurse Residency program.
This program is designed to provide an extensive orientation period
with hands-on training in inpatient rehabilitation, home health,
and hospice care settings. Our aim is to bridge the gap between
academic training and real-world clinical practice, ensuring that
you gain the competence and confidence to deliver high-quality
patient care under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced
nursing staff. Participate actively in all training sessions and
scheduled rotations through various care settings. Administer
medications and treatments to patients following physician orders
and established protocols. Evaluate and monitor patients' progress
and adjust care plans as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
team members to enhance patient outcomes. Document patient care
services accurately and comply with regulatory requirements.
Develop competencies in managing patient care and achieving quality
health outcomes. Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of
patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in
using healthcare software and electronic health records Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must have passed
the NCLEX-RN Current registered nurse license in the state of
practice CPR certified or ability to obtain certification within
the first 60 days of employment
