Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, invites newly licensed RNs to apply for our Registered
Nurse Residency program. Located in our state-of-the-art inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals and supported by comprehensive home health
and hospice services, this program is designed to bridge the gap
from academia to practice. This immersive, supportive residency
combines clinical training, in-depth theory, and hands-on
experiences across a variety of settings to foster professional
growth and patient-centered care. Provide direct and individualized
nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific
nursing principles. Monitor patient health and progress while
documenting relevant notes in the patient care file. Participate in
interdisciplinary health care teams to provide comprehensive
services to patients throughout their recovery. Administer
medications and treatments with accuracy in accordance with
established policies. Advocate for patients’ health and wellbeing
in all health care settings, ensuring a seamless transition between
therapy, inpatient care, and home health services. Engage in
ongoing clinical skill development and professional practice under
the guidance of seasoned mentor nurses. Strong clinical skills in a
healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in clinical EMR systems Ability to work effectively in
a team-based health environment Empathy and dedication to
patient-centered care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision

Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire
