American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel Cath Lab RN – Cleveland, OH Weekly Gross: $4,233 - Taxable: $64/hr ($2,560/week) - Stipend: $1,673/week We’re seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a high?acuity contract assignment in Cleveland, OH. This role is ideal for nurses with strong interventional cardiology experience who are confident in fast?paced, critical situations. Role Summary: Provide care for critically ill patients undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab. This position includes STEMI call with a required 30?minute response time. Key Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive pre?, intra?, and postoperative care for Cath Lab patients. - Monitor and sedate patients during procedures, ensuring safety and stability. - Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring tools, including IABP and Impella. - Manage ventilators and support patients requiring respiratory assistance. - Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. - Navigate EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare systems as part of daily workflow. Required Qualifications: - Active RN license in Ohio - Cath Lab experience required - Proficiency with IABP, Impella, ventilator management, and advanced monitoring - Strong pre?/post?op and procedural sedation skills - ACLS & BLS (AHA only) Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the shift - Ability to stand for extended periods - Normal vision and hearing (with or without correction) - Ability to lift 250–300 lbs with assistance and push/pull up to 500 lbs - Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning agents About American Consultants Since 1989, American Consultants has been the leader in national healthcare staffing and consulting services.
