Job Description GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a
travel Histology Technologist for a travel job in Royal Oak,
Michigan. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Histology
Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date:
03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10
hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Histotechnician – Travel
Contract Location: Royal Oak, MI Shift: Evening – 4x10 Duration: 13
Weeks Key Responsibilities - Prepare and process tissue specimens
for microscopic evaluation - Perform embedding, microtomy, and
slide preparation for routine testing - Conduct Hematoxylin & Eosin
(H&E) staining and coverslipping - Assist with special stains
as directed by the Histology Manager/Supervisor - Maintain proper
documentation, accessioning, and reporting records - Ensure
compliance with CLIA, CAP, and laboratory quality standards -
Perform routine maintenance of histology equipment and maintain an
organized workspace Minimum Qualifications - Associate degree
(A.A./A.S.) with 1 year of histology experience, OR - High school
diploma/equivalent with 5 years of histology experience - HT (ASCP)
certification or ASCP eligibility preferred About GTT Healthcare
