Job Description Serving the needs of Garfield Heights and the
Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County since 1949, Marymount

Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital’s 3 South nursing unit is an
18-bed observation unit with 8 private patient rooms. The unit is
dedicated to providing care to adult patients with a wide variety
of medical conditions, including respiratory disorders, anemia, and
altered mental status, with a focus on cardiac disorders such as
heart failure and arrhythmias. Marymount Hospital’s 4 South nursing
unit is a 16-bed general medical unit with 8 private patient rooms.
Typical nursing care for both units includes IV access, phlebotomy,
medication administration, patient education, wound care, IV
therapy, and blood product administration . As an RN on this team,
you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by
interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors,
offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply
healthcare information as needed. This position requires a
caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure
quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. How

Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety
as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents
and providing safety resources. A caregiver in this position works
rotating day/night shifts from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
– 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday requirements. A
caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide direct nursing
care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Administer
prescribed medications and treatments Monitor, record and
communicate patients’ conditions. Note and carry out physician and
nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families Minimum qualifications for the
ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited school
of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) Current state
licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the
American Red Cross One-year current acute care RN experience in a
hospital setting Will consider licensed military RN experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting
patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires
working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to
communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20
to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force
frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force
constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in
excess of those for Light Work. Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as
required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the
anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual
compensation will be determined after taking factors into
consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience,
skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include
any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime,
