be considered. A school nursing position is available in Rochester,
MI, for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in school
health services. This contract role offers the opportunity to
provide essential healthcare support within an educational
environment, working with medically fragile students who require
attentive and skilled nursing care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide
direct nursing care to students with complex medical needs
including lifting, toileting, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy tube
(G-tube) management, and seizure interventions. - Manage small
caseloads or provide 1:1 care depending on student requirements. -
Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement
individualized health care plans. - Maintain accurate and timely
documentation of nursing care and student health records. - Ensure
compliance with school district policies and state nursing
regulations. Qualifications and Experience: - Must hold an active
and valid Michigan RN license. - Proven experience in school
nursing or pediatric nursing, especially with medically fragile
children. - Strong knowledge of nursing procedures related to
tracheostomy, G-tube feeding, seizure management, lifting, and
toileting. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
work effectively with students, staff, and families. - Ability to
work independently and manage multiple cases responsibly. Location:
Rochester, Michigan Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week Contract
Duration: 2026-2027 school year (tentative dates) Positions
