registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. This opportunity is for a registered nurse with
Operating Room experience to support perioperative care across
multiple units, including Pre-op, PACU, and Recovery. The role
requires flexibility to float between a medical center and an
outpatient surgery center, providing care to diverse surgical
patients. Location: Oakland, Oregon offers a welcoming community

surroundings. Responsibilities: Rotate between Pre-op, PACU, and
Recovery phases at two different sites Manage nurse-to-patient
ratios consistent with acuity: Pre-op (1:2), PACU (1:1 or 1:3),
Recovery (1:2 or 1:3) Provide patient care for various cases
including General, GYN, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Hand,
Podiatry, Eye, ENT, and Endoscopy surgeries Read and interpret
cardiac rhythms, respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
appropriately Collaborate with charge nurses and medical assistants
for smooth patient admission/discharge processes Utilize Meditech
EMR systems primarily, with some paper charting Adhere to dress
code with scrubs provided Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Current RN license (OR license not required at time of application;
facility will support obtaining a 90-day Emergency License) BLS and
ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred Experience with
Meditech EMR strongly preferred Competency in Phase 1 and Phase 2
recovery nursing Ability to float between departments and sites as
needed Schedule & Shifts: Primarily weekdays, Monday through
Friday, with varied 5-8 hour shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Schedule determined by manager; flexibility for gap coverage
encouraged No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements This
