We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide sporadic PRN coverage at Sparrow Eaton. In this position, you will work in a well-equipped surgical setting with two ORs and an endoscopy suite, performing approximately 20 cases daily under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. The facility employs Epic EMR, and anesthesia services are essential for a broad patient demographic, with an annual surgical volume of about 13,000. The role offers the potential for future sporadic coverage dates, providing flexibility to fit your schedule. Required Skills: Valid CRNA certification and state licensure (or eligibility) Proven experience working independently in a surgical setting Proficiency with Epic EMR system Ability to manage up to 20 surgical cases per day Comfortable treating a diverse patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in trauma or Level 4 trauma centers Experience with anesthesia in outpatient or endoscopy settings BLS and ACLS certifications Previous PRN or locum experience in a hospital environment Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CRNA, particularly in independent practice Familiarity with Epic or similar EMR systems Other Requirements: Must be able to obtain or hold an active state license and certification Willingness to complete Epic EMR training prior to start (waivers considered based on experience) Completion of physical exam and 5-panel drug screen within 30 days of start Orientation required before deployment; must be scheduled prior to start date Must be comfortable working independently and in fast-paced environments Providers requiring licensure must be approved to work in Michigan This is an excellent opportunity to expand your CRNA experience in a supportive environment while earning a competitive hourly rate of $187.60.
