Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Detroit, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,284 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Schedule: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am, every other weekend and holiday Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience License: Current License - Respiratory Therapist in the State Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS Must-Have: NICU experience, current or within the last year Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gas therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients. Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments throughout various business units as assigned. Effectively communicates with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other staff regarding patient care needs. Accurately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs, and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, respiratory interns, externs, and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
