Job Opportunity: Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Wyandotte, MI

Join Our Team at a Leading Healthcare Facility!

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team in Wyandotte, Michigan. This is a hospital-based role that offers varied shifts, supervised practice, and the chance to provide anesthesia care for adult and geriatric surgical patients in a Level III trauma setting. The facility features 10 operating rooms with supportive RNs and surgical techs, making it an excellent environment for professional growth.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases in a hospital setting.
Work under a supervised CRNA model to ensure patient safety and effective care.
Provide care primarily for adults and geriatric patients.
Collaborate with operating room staff, including RNs and Surgical Techs.
Participate in varied shifts, including options for part-time hours.
Ensure compliance with all patient care protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Required
Active Michigan RN License - Required
BLS Certification - Required
ACLS Certification - Required
PALS Certification - Required
AANA Certification - Highly Preferred
Experience with System Epic EMR - Preferred
Demonstrated clean malpractice/license history - Required
Willingness to work varied shifts - Required
Local candidates preferred - Mileage reimbursement available
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - Required

License and Certification Requirements:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Required
Active Michigan RN License - Required
BLS Certification - Required
ACLS Certification - Required
PALS Certification - Required
