Pomeroy Living, a premier senior independent living community, is seeking a dependable and customer service-oriented Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our residents by overseeing dining room setup, food presentation, and staff training. Responsibilities: Dining Room Excellence: Oversee dining setup, kitchen cleanliness, food presentation, and closing procedures. Oversee the presentation of all food served from the kitchen to residents and guests, ensuring quality and accuracy. Team Leadership: Train and supervise servers, participate in hiring, and manage daily staffing. Resident Satisfaction: Take meal orders, communicate with dietary staff, and address resident dining concerns. Meet with dietary staff daily to discuss daily specials, always-available menu options, and wine selections. Proactively address resident concerns and ensure their satisfaction with meal service. pm25 Qualifications: Minimum of two years of food management or food service supervision experience preferred. Experience in a senior independent living food service setting preferred. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
