We're looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist in Auburn Hills, MI! This person will be responsible for tax reconciliation, Preparing and processing voluntary and involuntary deductions, and partnering with local sites to ensure tax accuracy. About the Role How you will contribute Responsible for periodic, monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reconciliation for 4 EINS in 14 states Responsible for supporting Annual tax reconciliation for Canada and 2 Provinces. Responsible for identifying, registering and administering new payroll taxes as work locations are created Manage current tax accounts and making updates or closing accounts when locations close.Maintain state unemployment rates and ensure rates are updated timelyEnsures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws and maintains current knowledge.Responsible for ADP eTime.Prepares and process voluntary and involuntary deductions such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll. Uses automated system to produce accurate and timely bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls.
