Position Summary:
The Recruiter supports the credit union's Talent Acquisition
function through active and innovative talent acquisition
activities, recruitment tactics for recruitment success throughout
the organization. This will be achieved through the initial
applicant experience as well as assisting in new, creative
recruiting ideas. The position provides administrative support for
the talent acquisition department, including applicant tracking
administration, department tracking, and screenings. The Recruiter
will play a critical role to ensure we are engaging the best
possible talent by evaluating job descriptions, postings/position
advertisements, screening, and providing candidates an optimal
experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The minimum requirement for any team member of our company is to

supervisors and managers.
Determine applicant qualifications by: phone interviewing
applicants; analyzing responses; comparing job qualifications to
their requirements. Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills,
soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
Provide candidate information to Talent Acquisition team. Perform
administrative functions for the Talent Acquisition department,
including initiating candidate assessments, processing background
and drug screenings, sending written offer letters and coordinating
on-boarding documentation.
Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and
job qualifications. Screen applicants/resumes by providing feedback
and/or proper disposition within the applicant tracking system and
for resume harvesting.
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the
rest of the Talent Acquisition team.
Communicate in a timely manner, providing recruitment updates to
candidates and hiring managers. This includes candidate
correspondence while communicating credit union information and
benefits during screening process. Act as point of contact for the
Talent Acquisition team.
Support the Talent Acquisition team by scheduling and coordinating
interviews (phone, in-person, & video) with candidates and hiring
managers. Efficiently manage multiple calendars, distribution of
interview information to both internal and external participants,
and any additional interview requirements.
Attend career fairs and engage in community recruitment outreach
activities. Assist in material preparations.
Support job advertisements, position postings, and work with Talent
Acquisition team.
Avoid legal challenges by: understanding current legislation;
enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures;
and conducting training.
Serve as back up for job description coordination.
Be an advocate of the Community Financial Credit Union culture by
supporting diversity, philosophy, and other credit union
initiatives. Foster a positive image of the credit union via
professional representation in all contacts and complies with all
of the credit union's mission, vision, and values.
Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
Additional Functions and Responsibilities:
Travel to branches for interviews.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
6 months - 2 years of full-life cycle recruitment experience.
Experience using ATS.
Demonstrated professional, well-developed written and oral
communication skills.
Recent relevant Human Resources experience.
Proficiency using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and teleconferencing
technology.
Qualifications Preferred:
Knowledge using ADP Workforce Now.
Working Conditions:
This position works in-office and in-home. Work requires an
appropriate work environment in the home. In-office working
conditions are normal. Lighting, temperature, audio, and work space
are all sufficient. Work requires the ability to constantly operate
a computer and the ability to read, type, and communicate.
