This position is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems including Payroll & Time Management. This position is also responsible for assisting in identifying new HR needs and implementing the evaluation, analysis, and design of system changes to meet those needs. The position may be based in Northville, Michigan and reports directly to the HR Technology Director of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting to be sure system is available to run payroll.
• Taking an important role to implement the new Global Payroll solution.
• Supervising HR Tech projects/requests, processes, training and documentation.
• Working with IT specialist to develop, implement, and modify system requirements.
• Serving as leader on HR Tech Request. Serving as liaison with IT on HR requests. Maintaining key global HR applications as required
• Ensure the integrity of the data in the HR system through regularly scheduled edits and testing procedures.
• Provide high quality customer service on HR, benefit, and payroll related information.
• Provide system support and answer inquiries from HR, Payroll, Staff, Vendors, Agencies, etc. as appropriate.
• Partners with internal stakeholders to define requirements, configure, testing, and deploy solutions in the new Payroll solution integrated with SuccessFactors.
• Assists users to improve process or define request.
• Develop documentation, policies, user manuals, and other training materials of systems for users.
• Lead the specifications, development, and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures.
• Define requirements, testing, and implementation of data interfaces including input/output control procedures and error resolution.
• Consult with members of HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Tax, and other departments to evaluate needs and provide solutions.
  
  Minimum Requirements
  
  Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Human Resources
  
  Experience: 0-3 years
