Our Exciting Work Environment Delaware North Sportservice to provide concessions, premium services, clubs, suites, catering and retail at Little Caesars Arena, multi-sport complex located in Downtown Detroit, Michigan, the exciting new home of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons, with approximately 20,000 seats. The Opportunity Your Role:

  • The position is for associates interested in working in our Sportservice operations. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to our business, develop your management skills, and determine if you would like to pursue a career in our industry. The program will consist primarily of on-the-job training.
  • As an HR Office Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting the HR department at the unit level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Working with management to determine staffing needs; identify/maintain recruitment sources for qualified pool of non-exempt applicants; assist with advertising job fairs to interview and hire nonexempt staff for the operation; assist with all pre-employment testing and new hire paperwork for all non-exempt employees.
  • Develop/implement employee incentives/reward programs to meet unit goals; assist with handling employee relations matters/complaints, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution.
  • Assist with the facilitation of new-hire and re-hire orientations and required training for all staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; including maintenance of personnel files and internal auditing
  • Help answer payroll questions
  • Communicating orientation information to new hires (call fires, emails, etc.)
  • Responsible for all associates files (filing new paperwork, organizing, etc.) Qualifications We are seeking 1-2 years' experience in a Human Resources role.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Microsoft Office experience
    • Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources or similar field.
