Working within our Marketing, Sales Service organization gives you the opportunity to advance the Ford reputation as a visionary vehicle and mobility services company delivering a trusted customer experience. We're looking for insightful individuals with the marketing, sales and service expertise to turn data-driven insights into innovative solutions that enhance sales and customer loyalty. What you'll be able to do:

  • Develop diagnostic service functions to be used globally in support of Dealers/Customers.
    Interface with Product Engineering to understand new system requirements and implement robust Open Test Exchange (OTX) routines.
  • Occasional use of Rally to document system modifications to support new vehicle features / diagnostics.
  • Manage and understand CAN data to support application development / debug.
  • Interface with Module supplier to ensure service functions are implemented properly
  • Implement Module DID's to support datalogger as a diagnostic solution
  • Validate solutions using both simulation and on vehicle validation.
  • Respond to field issues with urgency - compete like a challengerThe minimum requirements we seek:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Science, or Mathematics
    • 1+ year of programming experience (including coursework, co-op's, and internships)
      Our preferred requirements:
      • Familiarity with programming languages a plus (but not required).
      • Dealership field experience working in Service Departments and with Repair Technician is a plus.
      • Strong desire to enhance and improve the technician's diagnostic experience.
      • Strong Program Management skills.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to work with global teams to communicate and agree on desired outcomes.
