Vehicle Software Engineering Manager: Job ID # 18291
Location: Sterling Heights-MI
Permanent Direct-Hire Job:
Base Salary: $152K to $185K plus Signing Bonus:
Responsibilities:

• Manage personnel in our Software Engineering Team.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to our software engineers.
• SAR (Special Access Requirements), Military Standards (DoD).
• CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List).
• Meet budgets and timeline schedules.
• Manage staffing needs.
• Conduct quarterly and yearly performance reviews.
• Track department metrics.
• Deliver customer presentations.
• Involved with ISO and CMMI audits and certifications.
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, MBA a plus.
  • Obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 10 years work-related experience, 3 plus years management capacity preferred.
  • Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • ISO 9001/ISO 14001, OHSAS18001 and CMMI standards.
  • EVMS (Earned Value Measurement Systems)
  • US Citizenship is required. No sponsorship offered.
  • Previous experience working on Military Vehicles desired.
  • Continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
  • Limited travel may be required.
