Description Laundry Aide Overview: The Laundry Aide provides
laundry services that provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and
homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Qualified

Residents , Families of Residents , and Employees .
Responsibilities: Sorts, washes, dries, folds and irons linens and
resident clothing Stocks linen closets and carts for nursing units,
and returns linen barrels to the laundry Delivers clean linen and
resident clothing to rooms Performs routine equipment cleaning such
as removing detergent build-up in washers and cleaning lint traps
Performs other tasks as assigned Conducts job responsibilities in
accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of
Conduct, its policies and procedures. Qualifications
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior
housekeeping / Laundry experience in an institutional setting
preferred Previous experience working in long-term care or with the
geriatric population preferred Must possess outstanding
communication skills and be able to follow oral and written
