a small business in MANUFACTURING in Brookpark, OH. Company
provides quality products to a wide variety of industries including
the aerospace, medical, general industrial, oil and gas, catalog
houses, automotive, twisted in wire brushes, gun brushes and custom
brushes. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong
communication skills to join their team as a Maintenance Mechanic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt,
efficient diagnoisis and repair of industrial equipment. A strong
command of the English language is mandatory for this position and
prior experience working in manufacturing machine repair, along
with excellent communication skills, is preferred. Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices Detect
malfunctions through observation (sound or visual) Run diagnostic
tests to ensure system functionality Repair broken or faulty
machine parts Perform emergency repairs Choose appropriate
materials based on mechanical needs Align and calibrate machine
parts Monitor and report on project progress Follow safety rules
and regulations Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements and skills Previous experience as a maintenance
mechanic or similar role Great understanding of pneumatics,
hydraulics, and mechanics Familiarity using various power and hand
tools, such as hosts and grinders Ability to stand for long hours
and lift heavy loads Problem-solving and organizational skills
General Description: minimum 3 years Experience * Must be able to
work first or second shift * Must be able to work overtime as
needed * Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify
issues * Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems. *
Knowledge of Mechanical and electrical systems * Machine diagnostic
and repair * Welding * Must be detail oriented. * Stand for long
periods of time * Work Independently * Must be willing to follow
all safety practices * Must follow all company policies * Follow
all direction given by supervisor Duties and Responsibilities: *
Assure that weekly schedule is completed * Assure that all work
practices are in OSHA standards * Keep area and machines clean and
organized * Sweep, clean production area * Wear appropriate safety
gear * Work as part of a team * Repairing machines, equipment, or
structures, as necessary. * Follow all quality control procedures *
Assure that all products are built to Highest Quality Standards *
Ensure conformance to specifications * Follow all company rules and
policies * Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements * Work in
varying departments to meet customer needs * Knowledge of
Mechanical and electrical systems * Fill out repair logs and
required OSHA logs. Pay rate $22-$27 an hour based on experience.
