Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a UX design role or a comparable field, such as information architecture, UI design, UX research, interaction design or human factors
• Master s degree in information technology, human-computer interaction (HCI), user experience, design, research or a related field
• Experience leading design workshops to collect divergent ideas and drive to a decision
• Comfort in fast-paced, agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in common wireframing, whiteboarding and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Miro, MURAL, Sketch, InVision or Figma
• Foundational understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and industry standards for accessibility and usability best practices
• Practical understanding of common UX and design heuristics and principles and how to apply them to improve a product s design
• Excellent communication, storytelling and persuasion skillsMinimum Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and demonstrate our ISMs, or our core philosophies, in your work every dayJob SummaryAs a UX Designer at Quicken Loans, you will work as a member of a cross-disciplinary product design team to define, design and deliver best-in-class digital experiences that address user needs and deliver business value.Our UX Designers are responsible for defining the functional and interaction design requirements of our digital products. They facilitate workshops and consult with UX researchers, product managers and stakeholders to discover ways to deliver business value by exceeding user expectations. They create artifacts such as wireframes, user flows and prototypes to evaluate and define the user experience, and they work closely with UI designers, UX writers and engineers to bring these experiences to life in our digital products.Applications should include a resume and/or LinkedIn profile as well as a portfolio displaying your thinking and work.Responsibilities
    • Develop user flows, wireframes and lo-fi prototypes for rapid, iterative user interface definition and improvement
    • Plan and facilitate design thinking workshops to frame problems, create context and build alignment around a common direction and drive decisions
    • Define and document functional and interaction design requirements that will ensure the product meets user needs and expectations
    • Communicate design feedback in a manner that drives the quality of the work higher and motivates others to dig deeper
    • Collaborate with product managers and UX researchers to develop concepts to evaluate opportunities and inform product road maps
    • Work alongside UI designers, UX writers and engineers to iterate early concepts into polished designs
    • Implement and contribute to our internal design system to create a seamless, consistent and coherent experiences across our digital ecosystem
    • Design experiences that account for user needs captured in research studies, personas and journey maps
    • Act as a UX and design leader in conversations with product managers, engineers and business stakeholders
    • Mentor fellow team members and stakeholders on UX best practices and values
    • Present and communicate UX recommendations clearly with high-quality artifacts
