With top tier product expertise, and a unique approach to the market, they offer their customers the very best experience in fire.About the Development Quality Assurance Administrator Position:The Development Quality Assurance Administrator, reporting to the Technical Project Manager, is responsible for coordinating with business users and the UX design team to ensure that specifications are defined before development work is done, and those specifications are met before being released. The Development Quality Assurance Administrator will assist the Development Team by ensuring that all needed assets are available to ensure successful launch of new initiatives. They will also work with the UX Team to define a unified roadmap for front and back end initiatives and will assist with maintaining the development team backlog. The Development Quality Assurance Administrator will also be responsible for triaging new work that comes in and directing it to the correct team to handle that work.Responsibilities:Quality Assurance

  • Work with Development Team Lead to define success criteria of given tickets prior to sprint work
  • Help ensure that code meets defined success criteria prior to code release
  • Active review of Pull Requests to ensure code quality
  • Work with Product Owners to implement UAT for any work prior to code releaseSprint Management
    • Work with business users to curate a backlog of projects for development work
    • Work with management to understand the priority of projects as they exist in the backlog
    • Work with business users to obtain full project scope prior to being added to sprints
    • Work with development team lead to scope projects and work level
    • Facilitate coordination between Product Owners and Development Team to ensure effective implementation of company initiatives
    • Design and implement workflows using internal project management systemsRoadmap
      • Work with UX/Design team to ensure needed assets are completed in time for development work to commence in line with roadmap timelines
      • Work with business users to ensure that projects are fully scoped in time for addition to sprintsPerformance Monitoring
        • Set baseline measurements for site performance
        • Perform monthly site performance audits to monitor impact of changes to the architecture and outside tools to performance.Other

            • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing
            • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to land projects in specified timeline
            • Organizational skills and ability to document processes effectively
            • Ability to think creatively about solutions to problems
            • Working knowledge of GitHub and Agile methodology
            • Proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node architecture, CSS, and HTML all preferred
            • Familiarity with various performance monitoring tools, such as Google Analytics, Pingdom, Sentry, etc is desiredEducation:
              • 1-3 years of work-related experience
              • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or relevant work experience preferred but not requiredThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.The working conditions are that of a typical office environment.
