Education and Training

Knowledge

  • Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs, ideally within a retail environment.

Experience

The following experience is considered essential:

  • 3-5 years of experience using PC-based applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
  • 3-5 years working in a supply-planning, team-based environment preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years working in a cross-functional collaborative environment, ideally within an automotive industry.

The following experience is considered desirable but not mandatory:

  • 5+ years of experience in working in the automotive industry.
  • 5+ years of experience working within supply chain functions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with modeling, analysis and simulations tools.
  • Experience with JDA planning software
  • Tenured membership of professional organizations, trade or user groups, and a pattern of regular attendance at industry conferences to enhance knowledge of supply chain planning.

Job Description

The following experience is considered essential:

  • Manage the supply planning process
  • Maintain rough cut capacity plan
  • Supply production plan to plant teams
  • Balance Inventory with Operational efficiency and costs
  • Lead Supply Planning Meetings, Plant trainings, etc.
  • Report out on Supply Plan KPI's
  • Align with Operations Directors on Supply Strategies
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Plants and Customers to align with capacity or resource constraints
  • Drive standardization across region and support other regions as they implement the processes
  • Support capacity studies
  • Review dependent demand variation for critical supplier components
  • Review and communicate CPV violations for critical supplier components
  • Perform additional analysis as required
