Job Description:

The Electrified Powertrain Torque Control Algorithm Engineer will work within a team of Powertrain controls, calibrations and integration engineers to develop electrified powertrain systems for current and next-generation electrified powertrains for Stellantis vehicles. The overall goal for the team is to develop a complete electrified powertrain that meets the vehicle functional requirements for fuel economy, emissions, drivability, and diagnostics.

The ideal candidate, who must be a strong team player and willing to work in a fast paced environment, will be involved in developing hybrid control strategies involving engine controls, transmission control and electric components such as motors, inverters, HV battery pack, charging components, etc. The ideal candidate could have a background in modeling/simulation of mechanical systems such as engine, transmission, hybrid-powertrains, etc. OR can demonstrate relevant experience in the application of control theory on their chosen application in the Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Automotive domains such as controls for autonomous driving applications, engine controls, transmission controls, hybrid-controls, motor controls, etc. and related application fields.
