  • Engage and lead battery lifecycle cross functional team
  • Support development of strategic planning priorities, business plans and goals
  • Support development of leadership presentations for strategic reviews and forums
  • Effectively communicate with Electric Vehicle Leadership to keep them informed of relevant activities and decisions
  • Acts as point of contact leading benchmarking activities, customer facing activities, legal reviews, and potential consultancy activities
  • Proficient in understanding Electric Vehicles, EV Batteries, related services and consumer acceptance of Electric Vehicle including the voice of customer
  • Complete tasks and propose solutions to ambiguous requests when minimal instruction is provided
  • Assist with the coordination and flow of new ideas and programs throughout the organization
  • Provide directional insight to assist with accomplishing goals and tasks
  • Execute special projects and analyses as required

Additional Job Description

Required Skills / Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or business field, MBA Preferred
  • 3+ years of strategy experience and/or project management
  • Comfortable working in whitespace (new areas/concepts) and open-minded to new and changing approaches to ensure desired solution is achieved
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business concepts, including the ability to critically evaluate and create project plans
  • Ability to work with all levels within General Motors globally and across functional boundaries e.g. finance, purchasing, vehicle development, legal, including senior leaders
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to organize and plan effectively, in ambiguous and continually changing environment
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with, motivate and elicit work from others
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are very unusual and difficult and creative solutioning is required
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic; willing to offer opinions and judgments, share feedback and constructively challenge leadership

This position can be remote with some travel.
