7p-7a, 3 shifts in 6 week period, 2
of 3 shifts on weekends
The Emergency Center is a Level 3 Trauma Center working on level 2
designation. Currently 30,000 visits annually. There is a
team centered approach to patient care. We are a primary stroke
center verified by the Joint Commission as well as a STEMI center.
We assess, manage, and refer patients to our in house
neuroendovascular interventionalists. We take pride in supporting
and providing safe nursing to patient staff ratios. We are a
full spectrum community centered emergency service line. The
department consists of 30 beds that are equipped with a new cardiac
monitoring system, Room Service Type Dining, and newly updated
patient stretchers to provide the most comfort.
What You Will Do
Provide direct nursing care in accordance
with established policies, procedures and protocols of the
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and
communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for
well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carrie out physician and nursing orders.
- Assessand coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with
members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification /
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of
Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
