Pharmacy Manager Inpatient- Full
Time- Day Shift- Ascension St. John Hospital 22101 Moross Road
Primarily day shift but rotational
as needed. As this individual is responsible for 3 shifts
24/7, Regular rounding and periodic presence on all shifts is
required. Responsible for morning huddle at 6:30 am.

The Manager of Pharmacy Operation,
supported by Supervisor, Advanced and Lead Technicians, will lead
and manage a newly renovated pharmacy operations and team of over
40 technicians. Candidates should exhibit strong leadership,
communication and knowledge of regulatory and state requirements.
Successful candidates will also have experience in leading
continuous quality improvement projects to advance and ensure
and efficient, safe, effective operations.
Manage the daily operations of pharmacy
What You Will Need:
- Develop and implement performance improvement activities to
include medication safety, medication use evaluation and
- Conduct competency assessments and coordinate the training and
development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy
- Develop and manage departmental budget to promote
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy
rules and regulations. Also serve on various committees.
Licensure / Certification /
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy
obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Master's degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience required.
- 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
3 year experience as Hospital Pharmacy
