The Business Development Representative is responsible for
marketing Central Conveyor Company's design, engineering,
fabrication, and installation services, initiating new customer
contacts, and maintaining relationships with current customers.
This role must be comfortable initiating contact, meeting with, and
following up with, new and existing Central Conveyor Company
customers. The Business Development Representative exemplifies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and
responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this

performed.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Maintain and Develop existing customer base.
Complete pre-qualification documentation for new customers.
Communicate with new and existing customers to discover and offer
solutions to their needs.
Create and deliver presentations to prospective and current
customers.
Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as
agreed.
Gather pertinent information from customer and competitor data.
Negotiate contract terms with customers and communicate with senior
leadership.
Identify and manage company risks that may prevent growth.
Research and identify opportunities for growth in new markets.
Foster a collaborative environment within the business.
Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and
potential customers.
Analyze current and past financial data to provide strategies for
increased revenue and decreased overall expense.
Support business efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Build and develop sales support team.
Provide training and mentoring to team members.
Create and develop sales presentations, sales literature, website
advertising content for the products & services of the
business.
Prepare and provide relevant sales forecasts for future business
opportunities.
Represent the organization positively in all areas of the
industry.
Complete other tasks or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or
similar, preferred.
5 or more years of experience in sales and business development,
specifically in the conveyor and/or construction industry.
Demonstrated experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
Sales and project management experience in automotive construction,
materials handling, and tooling industry, preferred.
Supervisory experience in all areas, preferred.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to foster and support an environment of strong
teamwork.
Maintains a strong commitment to safety, organizational goals, and
objectives.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate
with all levels of customers and employees.
Maintains a high emphasis on excellent customer service.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate excellent
problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Highly motivated, self-starting individual willing to initiate
action.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Teams, etc.).
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat DC.
Willingness to travel extensively, as needed.
