design and develop state-of-the art brake system solutions for
passenger cars and light trucks.The actuation hardware group
supports the development of the overall brake system by providing
the engineering support required for the brake actuation unit
(iBooster, Integrated Power Brake, and Vacuum booster). Job
Description Engineering Responsibilities:* Responsible for design,
test and development of brake actuation products supplied to OEM's
including the responsibility for product release, product
improvements, product validation and customer driven changes.*
Detailed design activities will include:* Ensuring component
performance to established specifications.* Working directly with
T-Apps and PCM's to meet project target dates.* Generating up to
date BOM's and drawings to support customer projects.* Localizing
of global components for regional manufacturing.* Leading component
design reviews with customer teams, manufacturing, and suppliers.*
Travel Expectation: Ability to travel internationally is required (
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in
Engineering.* Demonstrated experience from work or
internship.Preferred Qualifications:* BS in Mechanical Engineering,
BS in Automotive Engineering, BS in Mechatronics.* Basic
understanding of brake system components and their function..*
Brake booster, brake master cylinder, or brake system general
knowledge.* Knowledge of the design and test of mechanical
