purchasing, and sales teams are located in our Plymouth, MI office
fully supporting regional customers and providing local support for
global projects. The production facilities in Florence, KY and
Queretaro, MX manufacture and administer products for the NAFTA
region. Job Description The Product Security Engineer is a project
role that is primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance
of security-relevant Work Products related to electric power
steering (EPS Control Unit) and working closely with the Project
Leader to coordinate Security Management activities for the project
within the Automotive Steering (AS) division.The role supports the
project throughout the complete development life-cycle, starting
from acquisition/kick-off until series production system release of
the product. Will provide the opportunity to network with cross
functional teams (legal, government, OEM s) and divisions within
Bosch and help influence the security road map within the
automotive industry. This role will be a key player in the regional
security organization with strong ties to the global security
community within Bosch. Opportunity to represent Bosch at external
security conferences and panels.We are looking for a Product
Security Engineer with great social skill sets that have the
tendency to grow as a natural leaders in a team. Their technical
curiosity paired with a passion for engineering enables them to
provide guidance to the team in strategic problem solving and
enables them to understand even the most complex technical
challenges down to the last bit. Qualifications Bachelor's degree
in computer science, computer engineering, information technology,
or electrical engineering. 5 + years embedded development
experience. 1 + years of experience in system life cycle management
principles, including software security and usability.Preferred:
Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a global
organization Likes challenges and is motivated to learn Excellent
oral and written communication skills. Problem-solving and
analytical ability. Strong interpersonal and persuasion ability.
Development environments for embedded systems- cross-compilation,
debug tools, ICE, etc. Knowledge in the security aspects of
multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications,
and network protocols JTAG etc. Knowledge on AUTOSAR security
