Seeking a motivated Software Engineer who is willing to work with
new technologies of brake systems.* Responsible for supporting all
aspects of system and function development and theoretical
calculation using Matlab/Simulink, Carsim, ASCET and CSSim
environments* Support all phases of the software development
process.* Understand and negotiate specifications, design and
implement code, create documents and descriptions, maintain
existing software.* Ability to create scalable, maintainable and
robust software designs.* Develop cooperative relationships with
co-workers and contribute to global teams for design, review and
testing.* Analyze measurements and understand the source of
problems in the vehicle systems and prototype solutions based on
customer requirements.* Ability to continuously improve software
codes and algorithms to make them faster without compromising the
system performance.* Define and document test cases to ensure code
meets the customer requirements.* Validation of software changes by
using offline simulation techniques and in-vehicle tests, utilizing
measurement tools, analytical methods, knowledge & experience.*
Ability to work with and motivate a team.* Travel Requirement: Up
to approximately 10-15% Qualifications *Basic Qualifications**
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics,
Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.* 0-5 years of
experience with methods and tools for control system and software*
Development experience with C/C++ and model based programming
tools.*Preferred Qualifications** Experience with vehicle dynamics
and automated driving systems* Embedded control software for
chassis controls or related products(ABS, TCS, ESC)* Ability to
Travel to Test Track (6-8 weeks annually)* Excellent Communication
Skills* German language skills and experience* Experience
