Job Description As an experienced Software Architect for Infotainment Audio, you will be working with a global team of Software Architects to lead architecture work. You will design advanced infotainment systems for passenger cars and trucks, that meets the requirements of our vehicle manufacturing customers. You will interact directly with software developers in the Audio development team in our office in Plymouth, Michigan, as well as remotely with audio development teams in Germany and India.We are looking for a driven person with a strong experience and passion for Audio software engineering and architecture. Typical tasks for this position include among others:* Assessing customer requirements* Creating concepts and architecture solutions* Analyzing impact of architecture changes and feature requests.* Collaborating with customer architects to jointly design solutions tailored to the customer.* Triaging and assisting in resolving systemic issues in the audio domain.* Assisting in acquisition activities for future projects and prototypes. Qualifications *Minimum requirements:** Bachelor s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field* 3+ years software architecture experience in embedded systems* 3+ years of experience as developer of audio solutions for infotainment or mobile systems, with technologies such as sound processing, audio routing, audio software component or plug-in design* Strong skills in developing technical concepts* Strong communication skills*Preferred:** 5+ years demonstrated experience contributing to modern automotive audio hardware and software architectures* Knowledge of digital signal processing* Knowledge of in-vehicle noise management software* Knowledge of audio networking protocols such as Ethernet AVB, A2B, etc.* Knowledge of virtualization technologies* Knowledge of modern automotive SOCs including on-chip peripherals* 2+ years of experience in working in highly distributed teams and with multiple suppliers Additional Information By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) AWIM (A World In Motion) Associated topics: application architect, architect, backend, back end, design, develop, expert, matlab, php, senior software engineer
