Job Description Seeking an experienced engineer who can serve as a bridge between the teams that work on the automotive run time environment (Bosch developed Automotive Operating System, AUTOSAR Adaptive base software, hypervisor, etc.) and the customer project ADAS function/feature development team. The goal is to ensure compatibility between the application software and the underlying layers through effective Middleware deployment. Possibilities exist within the role for hardware support through BSP development, OS commissioning and SW prototype development. The engineer will have to interact closely with the customer, base software, Automotive OS experts and function/feature developers to support the design, development and implementation of a high performing, safe, unified system. Qualifications *Required Qualifications:** Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or related/equivalent degree) * 3+ years of modern C++14 experience, Python* 2+ years of build-system experience (CMake, Bazel, Meson)* 2+ years of experience developing on OS (Linux, QNX, ...)* Demonstrated capability to develop enablement tooling (scripts, visualizations...) on at least 1 project* Knowledge of automotive middleware (APIs, configuration, usage) including AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive* Soft Skills:* * Fast learner with demonstrated ability to pick up new concepts very quickly* Perseverance to work through issues as they arise, aligning with globally distributed stakeholders, as required* Good oral and written communication effectively communicate technical concepts, provide explanations, learn/accept corrections * Analytical Skills * Intrinsic customer orientation * Strong system level interest, no borders, wide know-how * Strong team player* Ability to manage parallel tasks* Social / networking skills*Preferred: ** Demonstrated ability to create PoCs/examples to deadlines and requirements* Experience with SW architecture, and especially large-scale projects* CI/CD/CT and setting up automatic testing* Experience with embedded and embedded SoCs Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) AWIM (A World In Motion)Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
