Essential Functions (Job Duties):Serves as a direct point of contact for WSU Colleges/Schools leadership to coordinate recruitment, promotion, academic programming, and student success initiatives related to off-campus strategies. Responsible for coordinating off-campus course schedules through partnerships, collaborations, and innovative delivery to support new student enrollments. Provides direct student support through advising and onboarding activities. These responsibilities flow through the WSU Academic Student Affairs and Global Engagement strategic priorities and focus on student success, teaching excellence, financial sustainability, and positive enrollment growth.Essential FunctionsIdentify off-campus programming and partnership opportunities, focused on transfer populations, to increase new and continuing enrollments.Assist schools/colleges in developing comprehensive course schedules and instructional programs to fulfill program requirements.Assist schools/colleges/departments in resolving problems with off-campus course schedules, advising, faculty assignments, and/or instructional issues.Assist schools/colleges in developing and supporting off-campus and new student recruitment initiatives to reach enrollment goals.Support onboarding academic advising for specific new student populations and off-campus programming.Maintain knowledge of academic curriculum developments, enrollment trends, and market conditions to identify new enrollment and off-campus opportunities and threats.Build and maintain relationships with university departments, colleges/schools, community college partners, and business and industry.Monitor off-campus student progress and academic offerings to support student success.Communicate University and transfer policies, deadline(s), and opportunities.Compile data and maintain statistical and progress reports relating to areas of responsibility as requested/required.Serve as a resource person for general information (i.e. admission, transfer, and WSU programming) and back-up on-site at WSU off-campus sites as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned or required at locations on or off-campus at times the demand for services is greatest. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required for rank of Extension Program Coordinator I; Master's degree required for Extension Program Coordinator II.Ability to represent Educational Outreach / Off-campus programs and establish a rapport with students, faculty, and the public.Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines with accurate results.Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs for adult learners.Experience in recruiting, counseling and advising students highly desirable.Ability to work afternoon/evening (flexible hours) including weekends.Must possess good organizational skills and adaptability skills.Excellent communication skills, oral and written.Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
