Job Description:
1. JOB PURPOSE:
The Automation Team Lead will oversee and support the functions for
advancing and implementing new automation technologies. The role
demands a high level of hands-on engineering background in advance
automation and technology with exceptional management and
communication skills. This role will be at the forefront of
developing and implementing new automation technologies.
2. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
--- Drive continuous improvement in key automation processes
--- Leverage lean principles to drive the design and execution of
processes and equipment layout to improve overall equipment
effectiveness
--- Build organizational competency in automation, and ensure
step-level changes towards delivering overall business strategy
3. ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES
--- Develop strong relationships with key strategic customers
across all business units.
--- Needs to have the ability to deal with multiple priorities
while working on simultaneous projects.
--- Manage working with the different teams in various departments
simultaneously.
4. QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
--- 8 + years' experience working with automation
--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering-Automation, Process Control,
Mechanical or Computer Science
--- Experience with robotic equipment
Desirable:
--- Knowledge of stamping, welding and product assembly

40% travel domestic and international
