Wm. P. Young Co., a non-affiliated company of Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a motivated, driven Machine Builder who is seeking the opportunity to assemble innovative, cutting-edge machines within a unique industry.We Offer:

  • Verify proper tolerances, fit, and finish have been held prior to final assembly.
  • Interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic engineering drawings.
  • Perform machining, using equipment including Bridgeport, late press brake, shear, and basic shop tools.
  • Communicate with Engineers to ensure work product meet specifications -
  • Comply with current governmental and safety regulations.Requirements:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience building industrial machines.
    • Professional writing skills, with the ability to prepare reports, and document instructions, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Strong understanding of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical wiring.
    • Ability to travel (15%)
