We are looking for a General Manager for the corporate/manufaturing Braking group supporting North Americas. The GM will manage and lead the Braking business across North America to ensure the maintenance of their market leading position and to ensure growth along with the market. This role reports to the Vice President of OE Braking.

This position can be based in: Southfield, MI, Smithville,TN, Glasgow, KY or Tepotzotlan, Mexico.

Responsibilities:

--- Manage and lead the Braking business across North America to ensure the maintenance of their market leading position and to ensure growth along with the market.

--- Lead and develop the entire North America team including but not limited to Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, Finance, and Purchasing.

--- Define and execute the long-term strategy in order to maximize profitability and eliminate cost across the business.

--- Responsible for P&L of the region, growth target achievement, and the continuation of strong relationships across a diversified customer base.

Challenges:

--- Manage a series of extremely complex and confidential projects across the region.

--- Lead the North America team

--- Tackle any and all operational challenges efficiently and effectively.

--- Ensure that the Braking business grows in line with the market as planned for the next 5 years.

Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.

Skills & Experience:

Current GM / end-to-end business leader with a strong track record in the automotive industry

--- Demonstrated leader who has led difficult turnaround situations successfully

--- OEM customer relationship management experience

--- Strong operational background; excellent aptitude, appreciation and understanding of operations

--- Continuous improvement background

--- Engineering background
