They provide ongoing training to maintain consistent work and communication with customers and employees. Team Leaders travel to manufacturing plants or warehouses to supervise teams of quality inspectors.Team Leader Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure all teams operate according to standards and requirements, including safety protocols.
• Develop work instructions and train inspectors on proper procedures relevant to the project.
• Manage customer relationships.
• Serve as interim acting job leader when the project supervisor is unavailable.
• Inspect parts.
• Lead the work of other team members.
• Ensure team members have proper equipment, tools, and gauges; verify equipment is signed out.
• Communicate with customer or job site contacts regarding job requirements.
• Complete required paperwork for the duration and completion of projects.
• Complete required training classes.
