Job Description:
Our client, a SE Oakland industrial tool supplier is growing and
needs an energetic, detail-oriented individual for a Shipping and
Receiving/Warehouse Associate for their Troy location. The Shipping
and Receiving/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving
and writing up incoming orders of machined parts.The hourly pay
range for this position is between $14-$15 per hour and the work
schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with occasional
overtime as needed.This is a temporary to hire
position.S&R/Warehouse Associate Duties:* Receive incoming
materials and place in an organized manner in the warehouse.*
Review of incoming hardware* Purchase Order review and job write
up* Enter received materials into inventory database.* Place
materials onto boards for trimming.* Final Inspection of outbound
work* Wrap materials for shipment.* Creating labels using Word.*
Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.*
Installs lights and wiring.* Operates any equipment needed to
perform job.* Performs related duties as needed by supervision.*
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the
department supervisor.* Maintain the work area and equipment in a
clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety
regulations.* Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules
with minimum supervision.* Interacts with customers and coordinates
outbound freight services.* Conduct daily physical inventory
counts.S&R/Warehouse Associate Requirements:* Minimum of HSD or
GED* 1+ years of related experience* Basic math skills* Very good
written and verbal skills.* Hilo* Blueprint reading a
plusS&R/Warehouse Associate Skills:* Ability to work
independently.* Ability to work with strict time constraints.*
Ability to use a hand jack and pallet jack.* Basic computer
