Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a dynamic company to join? Due to our steady growth, we have an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer who will apply knowledge of engineering principles to assist in the design and development of electrical and electronic projects in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, military, and industrial equipment. The Electrical Engineer will develop wiring architecture, wire harness routing, power distribution, and electrical system needs and requirements. The Electrical Engineer will also develop and execute electrical system functional and validation test requirements. This position is located in Allen Park, MI.

Responsibilities
Design and develop wiring architecture, wire harness routing, power distribution, and electrical system needs and requirements
Integrate wire harnesses, connectors, sensors, switches, and electrical components into overall vehicle architecture
Develop electrical system functional and validation test requirements
Identify and mitigate major electrical system failure modes and effects
Provide hands-on support of prototype vehicle and hardware builds
Perform in-vehicle testing and assist with vehicle assembly
Participate in vehicle drives and demonstrations
Develop detailed electrical system schematics, perform analytical circuit functionality, and make any system modifications to meet project specifications

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred)
Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident allowing for ITAR compliance
Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle electrical systems
Experience with the development and maintenance of Design Verification Plan & Reports (DVP&Rs)
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others to deliver quality products
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Knowledge of control system components and software including sensors, transducers, and actuators
Knowledge of wire harness design tools and general laboratory test equipment and procedures

Preferred
Experience with the development and maintenance of Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs)
