Job Description Job Title: Talent Representative - Fleet Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Director, Private Fleet Supervises: None Talent Representatives are responsible for driving the execution of the talent acquisition process for all hourly, exempt, and Private Fleet Drivers positions. In partnership with the Talent Manager, this role will develop and implement recruiting initiatives that build bench strength, reduce turnover and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and FMCSA guidelines. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform full lifecycle recruiting to include execution of screening, identification and coordination of advertising plans, interviewing and selections of candidates. Use strategic planning information to implement an innovative, region-specific staffing plan to develop a strong external bench of talent that supports the Private Fleet acquisition strategy. Execute recruitment plans in order to achieve staffing metrics including candidate quality, candidate throughput, and efficient time to offer. Develop individualized sourcing strategies for the markets and execute appropriately. Strategies should include cold calling, building networks in the markets, and maintaining interests with passive candidates. Monitors and reports weekly progress on staffing needs, turnover, succession planning and other related issues. Performs market visits with Talent Manager to support staffing needs and organizes/conducts hiring events and staffing meetings as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong recruiting skills and ability to identify quality candidates. Strong knowledge of all relevant recruiting and employment laws and regulations. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks for timely completion. Understanding of overall recruiting process including time-to-fill, turnover, internal promotion rates, etc. Excellent understanding of the retail environment. Basic understanding of total reward programs and employee-relations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to effectively communicate with candidates and employees of all levels. Good computer skills; ability to develop spreadsheets and reports to analyze division staffing needs. Excellent collaboration and consensus building skills. Strong relationship-building and networking skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for timely completion. Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills. Work Experience &/or Education: Bachelor---s degree preferred. Two years of recruiting exempt level candidates Note: This position requires weekly travel and overnight stays; a current driver---s license and acceptable driving history is required.
