Position Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the
coordination and assignment of all divisional activities related to
maintenance and welding operations, ensuring that all timing
schedules and regulations are adhered to. The Maintenance
Supervisor supports Leadership and Maintenance personnel by acting
as liaison in matters regarding policy application, employee
relations, and continuous improvement for processes and
productivity. This is a second shift position (2 pm to 10 pm).
Duties and Responsibilities Co-ordinates preventative and
predictive maintenance with maintenance technical group and
production planning. ---Supports daily/weekly/monthly PM
assignments, does follow-up and monitors PM schedule. ---Conducts
daily communication meetings with maintenance personnel. ---Assists
with repair, modification, and installation activities with other
maintenance personnel. ---Participates in manpower requirements
planning, overtime scheduling, and assists with capacity planning
to meet future objectives. ---Directs and distributes the work for
their area of responsibility. ---Complies with all Health and
Safety programs in accordance with OSHA. Follows and ensures
Company procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are
followed. ---Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area
and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and
the safety policies of Cosma Body Assembly Michigan. ---Regularly
monitors scoreboards to observe where issues are occurring, and
that maintenance offers assistance and support to production team
members; Responds to Andon based on the escalation process, as
required. Education and Skills/Experience Required Completion of
college university degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
or related field; or Certification of Qualification for
Electrical/Millwright/Tool & Die; or equivalent work-related
experience. Minimum 5 years of related work experience in
automotive manufacturing operations with minimum 3 years of
supervisory experience. Highly knowledgeable in Robotics (Fanuc),
PLC (Allen Bradley) and electrical. Highly knowledgeable in
mechanical and machining. Proficient in Microsoft Office and
manufacturing operation systems (ERP, MES, Preventive Maintenance,
etc.). Strong math skills with the ability to apply to costs and
analyze data. Additional Information Must be familiar with: Fanuc
Robotics, Allen Bradley PLC's, MFDC weld controllers (Bosch), MIG &
Spot welding, Adhesive dispensing systems (Nordson), electrical,
mechanical, pneumatics, conveyors, vision systems, etc Microsoft
Office, EMaint, Ignition, Outlook, ADP, etc Awareness. Unity.
