Job Description:
The Book Tower Detroit is looking for a full time Maintenance
Manager. Our operations are similar to traditional hotel with a
24-hour front office, housekeeping services, and offering
personalized amenities.
Job Description:
-Delegate direction and assign tasks to maintenance department.
-Organize materials, tools, and equipment to perform daily
assignments.
-Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the
preventive maintenance program.
-Facilitate the ordering of all supplies to ensure that par levels
are maintained and that purchasing is in line with budget.
-Check pending work orders daily and address each work order in a
timely fashion.
-Perform electrical work: replace light switches, reset circuit
breakers, and replace wall plug receptacles, etc.
-Perform plumbing work orders: unplug sinks, toilets, garbage
disposals, drain lines, replace washer, gaskets, vacuum breakers,
and toilet seals.
-Work with different types of pipe including conduit, copper, black
cast iron, and pipe hangers.
-Perform Preventive Maintenance work orders; monitor and maintain
entire building.
-Check HVAC equipment; change filters, belts, bearings and
lubricate as necessary.
-Check and test-run emergency generator weekly.
-Perform general maintenance to resident suites and public
areas.
