Electrical Engineer Intern HIROTEC America is the world's leading comprehensive engineering company; providing state of the art tooling, engineering services and products to automotive manufacturers across the world with Headquarters located in the heart of Auburn Hills. Currently we are seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to become a part of the HIROTEC Team. Responsibilities:

• The individual will be responsible for learning to design and commission the electrical hardware and software systems for machine controls with pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• The individual will gain expertise on equipment such as: resistance welders, robots, sealant equipment, cure equipment, conveyors, presses, inspection, vision, programmable controllers, HMI based operator interface screens, etc.
• The individual will be trained on PLC programming languages, operator interface programming languages, and basic robot programming. They will work closely with mechanical engineers on the mechanical machine tool design. The position requirements include working towards a Bachelor's degree from a university with major emphasis in Electrical Engineering. Previous work experience preferred. Knowledge of Automotive industry, computer skills-Microsoft Office Products, technical aptitude with problem solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal/ communication skills, and must possess strong organizational skills, teamwork and leadership skills. Ability to travel for service and installation, both nationally and internationally. Excellent work environment and benefits await you!
