Design Remote Michigan, 48226 Please note: This position can work
fully remotely, but new hires may be required to come to our home

Vacation, and Personal Time Core Description: The Project Engineer
will assist the Project Manager to develop the production schedule,
and maintaining quality assurance in accordance with project
objectives and estimated labor budget. The Project Engineer will
also assist PM to develop and implement work breakdown structures
to ensure the established scope, schedule, and budget are met for
all assigned projects across all functions. The Project
Engineer:Assists with preparing program/project proposalsAssists
with preparing project change orders and/or corrective
actionsConsults with SME(s), or acts as SME, to ensure projects
and/or programs meet existing and new regulatory
requirements.Communicates and directs team project objectives,
parameters, status, and outcomes to relevant stakeholdersWorks with
PM and Supervisors on the requisition of resources to meet project
objectives; reviews allocation of resources and approves
reprioritization as necessaryCoordinate with the Functional
Managers/Supervisors to establish weekly Associate assignment
schedulesWork as part of a team with supervisors, providing
feedback to assist in coaching and developing associates on their
assigned projectsPromote safety in the workplace.Requirements:
Education & Experience Requirements:Education Requirements - High
School Diploma, or equivalent, is required. 2-year or 4-year degree
preferred.Experience Requirements - 5+ years of experience in the
electrical power distribution industry. Management may consider
other education and/or work experience to be acceptable for
appointment to this position.Dependable transportation and valid
driver's license and insuranceAble to pass a background check/drug
test/driving record checkComputer literate - especially Microsoft
Word, Excel, OutlookWilling to travel as needed, including
overnight travelStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work
within a team, establishing and sustaining relationships with
colleagues and employees at all levels in the companyStrong
technical skillsBasic financial skills to make sound business
decisionsAbility to work during core work hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Eastern Time, Monday-Friday - occasional weekend work may be
required as duties demandAuthorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:Must be able to endure frequent, lengthy
periods of sedentary work and sit for prolonged periods of
time.Must be able to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor,
and telephone for prolonged periods of time.Must have the physical
ability to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data
and figures, transcribing notes, and viewing a computer terminal;
these activities require close vision, distance vision, color
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to
adjust focus.Must have the physical ability to express or exchange
ideas by means of the spoken word and convey detailed or important
spoken instructions to other workers accurately, often in a group
setting.Must have the ability to receive detailed information
